By accessing or using LegalClue ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LegalClue provides AI-powered analysis of legal documents. The Service uses large language models to generate simplified summaries, key points, and legal insights from documents you upload.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload documents containing malicious code or malware
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's APIs
• Circumvent plan limits through technical means
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Upload documents you do not have the right to process

5. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in Indian Rupees (INR) via Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — please contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, and content, is owned by LegalClue and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited licence to process them solely for delivering the Service to you.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegalClue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
